I don't usually blog about my day during the weeks but this I just had to vent somewhere!! At the end of a long tiring day driving around Bangkok doing a CTP picking thing's up the last stop of the day was changing 2 PC programs we had bought last week which didn't work. Well first off the guy sitting in the shop was a different guy than we saw last time (who was also different from the guy we saw last, last time) and that didn't help us much first we had to convince him that the programs didn't work which resulted in us having to "show him" literally (we took out the Laptop and installed it infront of his face) resulting in his complying to our request to change the programs. Than for another hour I was standing there installing programs (I counted 6) we finally got one of Kwans ones that worked (this was like miraculous since all the other ones had some form of error, well thats sort of what you get for buying pirated CD's). We were like "woo-hoo VEGAS!!!" than i tried 3 versions of Photoshop and 2 of dreamweaver but they all had problems I finally resolved to just ditch the programs and got a piece of software instead (I got this learn Japanese program, I was really happy not cus I the CD was a Japanese tutor but cus I actually found something that worked without a problem). A little note to other program geeks.... IF YOU PLAN TO BUY A PROGRAM MAKE SURE IT IS LEGAL!!! IT MAY BE EXPENSIVE BUT YOU DON'T RISK HAVING TO GO BACK AND CHANGE THE CD 3 -4 TIMES OR THE TIME LOST TRYING PROGRAMS YOU AREN'T SURE WORK!!!
my days are going up and down cus my sports teams win and lose like day after day
like:
First England win Estonia 3-0 (and Rooney scores)
Then England Lose Russia 1-2 (Rooney scores for England again) and only have a very slim chance of qualifying for EURO 2008
On to the States where the Red Sox are 3-1 down to the Indiana's and one more loss means the end of the season for Boston
But today I have good news!! The Sox came back and won the Wednesday (Tuesday for them) night game 7-1 runs to continue their hopes of overcoming the Indiana's (they still are on the brink of elimination unless they win the next game to level 3-3, I think they need a miracle like the one that happened in 2004 when they became world champions).
and I think I'm just tired...cus I never say any of this stuff on my blog.
