Eulogy to Annie

As everyone probably knows Annie is my best friend. Why? Well it’s cus we’ve always BEEN that way ever since….. since…… how old were we Annie???

See!!! I can’t even remember!! I’m guessing ever since we were toddlers, we grew up together at the old TC until my family moved when I was 6 traveled all over the country and finally met her at a fellowship 6 years later! (yes, it’s my fault we weren’t together for all those years cus it was MY family who left!). After that we saw each other on rare occasions until her family moved to Indonesia. And just last year she came back again!! I was so happy, like totally elated!!!

I dug up some pics from the "Old days" I think in this one we were like 6???

Check this one out!! 10 points for the person who can find both of us (and for any one who can't, I'd say your a bad seeker.)

Now for some appreciation time!! Annie is a super excellent cook, she can sing and dance, she can make the sweetest, sincerest faces, she's got a beautiful smile and a beautiful heart and.....there's just so many more I don't have time to say it all!!!
So you can imagine my reaction when I she bid me farewell, and if you can't imagine, it was quite disheartening. She told me a few months prior that she'd be going somewhere but when it actually came time for her to leave it was like "You can't leave now!!! thats way too soon!!". We were going to go see her on the day that she left but her flight was at 7am and she'd leave for the airport at 5 so there wasn't a chance to say last goodbyes in the flesh (oh right, we don't say last goodbyes cus it won't be!). Anyway we had a late night conversation at like 12:00am and all the while I didn't want to believe it. But the next day I knew it was real because there was no smiling Annie in an apron to greet us at the door, there were no yummy scones for lunch and there was no Annie to talk to during the day.

Here I leave you some memorial pictures to always remind us of her.

Let me present

This, everyone is Shayne. Yeah the guy that fills my chat box up with unintelligible comments (I mean "Intelligible" really I do ).
I was at his home in BKK for around 2 weeks while my Dad was in the hospital, and I must say it was a very fun time. I love the teens in their home, those were great times, great times.

(to Shayne): There are so many things I won't ever forget from staying in your home, and lots o things I won't forget about you! Such as your ice-tea (the best I've ever had!! I swear!!) and the late night chats, your silly (sorry) strategy games that involve way too much ale, running up and down the driveway at night (won't mention the rest LOL!), helping you out in the kitchen slicing those tomatoes (and slicing my finger in the process YEOW!!), umm what else? aha!! your guitar playing is so awesome both the electric one and the acoustic (thanks for singing ST. Francis prayer for me, I loved it!). And one last thing, That conversation we had, about ...... "you know what". I'm still thinking about it, all that truth or should I say "the inconvenient truth" that everyone should know about, I never heard anyone put it the way you did before. All in all thanks for those great times I don't think will come around again, at least for a while, all those funny stories, those umm out-of-it ditty's you'd make up ... yeah have a good one!

Here are some pictures.

Oh one last thing Shayne sorry about the umm accident. I hope your ok.
Luv ya!

The new Template!

As you can see I totally changed the blog sort of an upgrade heh.

Today Me and Kwan were talking and we got on the subject of these little cards that you get at the malls after shopping that you write your name on and send in, hoping to get the "prizes" if you are lucky enough in this case 25 laptops.
Well Kwan was saying "Let's make a fleece! if it rains tonight the Lord will give me a laptop!" and I said "Heh fleeces? well in that case if it DOESN'T rain then the Lord will give me one!", "Sort of like one way or another we will at least get ONE !".

talk about holding the Lord to his promises that he won't only give us our needs but our wants, HA! We have faith that the Lord could supply through those little scraps of paper but I don't think fleeces are the best way to find out God's will (thats why it comes in last place, number 7 from the 7 ways to know Gods will!). So we sit and pray everyday for the Lord to supply heh! you can pray too!
