Sook san wan Songkran!!

Sook San wan Songkran!!!Happy Thai New years!!its Songkran!!

On April 13th to 15th Thailand has a country wide water fight!! everyone stops work and goes out to have fun and to visit relatives and "Wai pu yiay"pr "lot nam dam huwa"(simply go give respects to the elders)as tradition we would go see our relatives and ask for blessings as you see in the photos we would pour water on their hands as they give you the blessing, the water is its self is special its self,it has soon sweet smelling liquid you mix with the water and it also has flowers to make it pretty, while the adaults were talking I took photos around the place a totally Thai house, with everything you need to live in the property, after that we went to the town center,to have dinner,we hardly have any water fights with the rest of the people,so we just do gurila fights,(shoot out the windows and closing them before they could shoot back,(the people get teriblly annoyed if they fail to shoot us after we soak them!)most of the people would be on the backs of pickup trucks, with buckets and water guns, the roads would be packed with traffic, after going through all the "Mayhem" we got to the festival area (no water fights in the place, safe for those who want to stay dry)we ate all the yummy things like,Pad Thai, kanom cheen, pak taut, and plenty others, but no photo (frown)anyway they had a a fun game of "Takra wong" (last photo) and so the ends the day,the water fights were satisfying, the food and all,(and the blessing) my grandma wished I'd get a girl friend this year!!
