It sounds a sort of strange announcing it's my birthday. And it feels kind of weird being called a "YA" when you still feel like an average teen. 18 is like the only number I've heard for the past 3 days, and I haven't been able to figure the importance of it (well I'm sure I will within the next 3 weeks), and I'm not quite sure if I'm super elated or really sort of sad that I can't be a "kid" anymore. Anyway just to clarify about the Title of this post, I wasn't purposely trying to make people feel bad who didn't remember - I just couldn't think of a proper starter.
On birthdays you're supposed to make a wish as you blow out the candles on your cake?...yeah well what happened was ....... the block head that I am.....forgot, yep, just plain forgot (excuse: "there were so many things going on and like everyone was talking and I was talking to everyone and the candles were being lit...basically all this stuff was going on so it slipped my mind).
I really wanted to wish like 15 things- ok just make it 18 since I'm sort of bound to that number now, but I realized at the moment I was meant to wish but didn't that I had my wish. It was my wish to be surrounded by friends, to laugh, and enjoy their company....I had all that and.....one of my best friends was there, something that wouldn't be possible considering normal circumstances if it hadn't been The Lord. My last words....I had an awesome birthday, my most memorial one, the one that will never fade from me. And I'm glad, just greatful for everything, for everyone who came and couldn't come, for those who sent me emails and messages over the net (thanks Lee and Squish for not forgeting), and for my family who worked incredibly hard to host everyone who came. And the very last thing....thanks to everyone who read this, Thanks a lot.
