this just came to me in prophecy the other day: (dedicated to the victims of the Iraq war)
I dream of a world of peace. A world where people live in harmony; where children can walk the streets unafraid; where men of different countries embrace like brothers, their tears mingling on each others cheeks.
That’s the world I’m dreaming of.
A place where at last everything is safe. Where mothers no longer have to see their sons off to war, where children no longer must bury their parents, and parents no longer bury their children. A place that is free from the noise of bombs and guns. Restful peace.
That’s the world I’m dreaming of.
I can see the world soon to come, a world where nobody is hurt any longer; where the screams of death and agony and pain will become a hazy recollection. A place where people do things without ulterior motives, where sunrises come and sunsets go and no more hearts have been left broken.
That’s the world I’m dreaming of.

thats a very thought provoking article. You just put into words the feelings of many others 'round the world. I think everyone should come to realize that the only way that dream could come true is when all people, and all nations turn back to Jesus. And thats what we are here for, right? to show them the way. Thanks for sharing that Loli

Kirsten, it's true that is the heartcry of many in the world. Somehow, though, hearing it come from Jesus makes it even more stirring. Makes me want to do all I can to make His dream come true.
