Math for dummies

Alright you can probably guess what this post will be about and it may be boring so prepare urselves!!!

I think math is a very interesting subject (I can almost hear you start to laugh) never- the- less it’s true. It’s a subject for the intellect, it’s challenging and if understood can bring a great amount of satisfaction to one who works so arduously at it. I am in no way implying this to myself actually I am saying just the opposite. I much as I would love to be that genius person I have always wished to be, have accepted the fact that I can not be all the things I dream of being.

Speaking of facts, THAT is the whole concept of Mathematics!!! FACTS!!!
It is the heart of the subject and the point of its study is perfection. The whole entire reason we slave away and start to see codes instead of numbers at the end of the day!! (that must be what the whole matrix was about). Trying to de-crypt the meaning of “P” could possibly make you end up with “P = Problem” and that’s about it!! Or possibly “(2xy-z) – (nop x 7)” could end up being “?” (that problem was made up I’m sure you could tell). What I am saying here is that math is just “NOT” for some people who sound like dummies when it comes to the subject (I should know “I AM ONE!!”) it is just a complicated procedure to deal with that may end up getting you nothing but a headache.

Now if I was not a Math dummy I would probably see things differently, it just so happens that instead those complicated problems might turn out looking like a puzzle that is missing just one piece that needs to be found. Simple as that. It would probably be just as fun to tackle as playing “Cubics” and the most fun game on the planet!!! Some people just seem to “Get It” I have no idea how, maybe there is a manual somewhere that has all the answers and I just haven’t gotten my hands on yet, or maybe they have an in-born instinct to just know that “this will mean this”, as logical as it would be to say “get out of the way when a car is driving full speed towards you or you will get ----!! (choose your best word) LUNCHED; PANCAKED, SMUSHED, IMPRESSED or anyway else you would describe it. But more logically I would say it was because of their ability to understand and grasp its concept of what is trying to be explained.

So now while I await this sudden and divine anointing to understand all and know all, I will trudge over to my Math book and start ripping all the pages out. NO definitely not!!!! ( though it sounds tempting) I mean I will try as hard as I can to crack the codes and dashes that have been placed in front of as if I was detective Saunders (only Kenny will understand that! just trying to make it sound like more of an exciting subject) but really, until I can achieve all that genius-ness I think I will search near and far for “Math for Dummies”.

And to end this unusual post I will add that I will be far away from blog world for a week (vacationing Hee- Hee) that's all (hey maybe I will come back knowing how many grains of sand I can find on my head after a swim in the beach).

Hope u come back totally rested & refreshed!

I'm a math dummy, too, so I can relate to your situation! Algebra especially, was frustrating 4 me, & I feel your pain. Thank God w/ all the emphasis on resting in the Lord, it should help make things less stressful. Don't panic, you're not hopeless, 'cuz He's your help!

And I dunno if these wld help further, but thought they might be worth putting here anyway, in case you find that one of'm does:

thanks for those links(I liked the morons for us one), I'm almost done with the algebra (PTL!) but still have other forms of math to complete.
