It's my birthday today, so all you well wishers can give me your birthday wishes. I think I'm getting Old.
An extra bit of information (to make this past a little lengthier)
It's National Police day.
And on the 8th day of creation God said "LET THERE BE MUSIC" and according to His word it was so.

Happy B-day!
"I think I'm getting Old." ROTFLOL!! You're not supposed to start saying that for another 10 yrs! Enjoy being sweet sixteen, Pon. Just, uh, try not to bring the police into it! ;)
Happy Birthday to a fellow Libra!
If I could go back in time & give my 16 y.o. self advice for that year, it'd be to make the most of the time by taking my interests & cultivating them into gifts & talents, like I've seen several teens here do during the renewal. No matter how little time u feel u hv to do that now, I guarantee that u will hv even less time as the yrs go by & u naturally accumulate more & more responsibility, so there's no better time than now. Hv a superb year!
HA, I've been getting more responsibility So it's true I'm getting old, And no worries there weren't any police just some relatives.
I'll definately take your "advise"
(again, maybe you can be my official adviser or something)I know I should do all those things, like the sooner the better and I've been trying.
BTW fellow Libra you haven't told me your birthday.
Good for u, trying to cultivate your interests & talents! I wasn't implying that u weren't; just telling u what I wish I would've done at sixteen! :)
From what I've seen, 13~17 are the optimum years for developing the skills one would like to have -- not that it's impossible to learn anything after that, but there's waay less time to use toward it (unless you've already developed those skills to the point that they're useful & there's a need for that particular skill in your team, in which case you get the blessing of "learning on the job")!
Also, to clarify, when I said, "I guarantee that u will hv even less time as the yrs go by & u naturally accumulate more & more responsibility," I didn't mean that getting more responsibility equals "getting old". There are plenty of very irresponsible old people in the world, haha!
You cld say, "I'm getting older," & that wld be a true statement, but if u think you're getting OLD, then you're making the mistake of confusing maturity w/ age. I do that too, sometimes, but in reality we don't know the half of what it is to be "getting old" (though I hv to admit, I'm approaching that half-way mark)!
