We got there an hour early so we walked around the University (it was held there) my Mom's University in fact,so she showed us around,we saw her old room and the grounds, anyway after the little tour the other home (LP) finally arrived so we talked and hung out and took photos,by the time it started we were all ready to go and see the hall.

Well here is the only photo that was acceptable.
(My sister Kirsten,Susan[Mespel,]and me)

Me and Susan during the introduction of the orchestra players(she had to make a weird face to ruin the photo, typical)

So it started,This is the conductor.(Conductor Surayut Jantarangkhun),(the photos are in order of happening)
Ok so to business,This was the opening symphony,The Overture To Ballet "The Creator of Prometheus",Opera.43 by the famous Ludwig Van Beethoven,
And also the L'arlesienne Suite No.2.Opera.23 by GeorgeBizet
Which consist of four songs:
1.Pastorale
2.Intermezzo
3.Minuet (a favorite of mine)
4.Farandole

Here are the violinist, there were 1st and 2nd violin, the first consist of 9 musicians the second 7. One of the violinist is a friend of the the LP home and teaches one of the kids there.

Part of the whole band, this symphony was the Hungarian Dance Opera no.5 by the also famous Johannes Brahms.

This is the double bass player.there were three in all

The celloist, there were 9 of them and they played so well, their bows moved in perfect precision, perfectly unified ,like seasoned players I was so thrilled by the music the actions and movement,it was so awesome!!

My favorite dude in the whole orchestra as you can see why,we are totally relatable. After the orchestra I took a photo with him and got to talk to him for a while and i got to look at his music sheet too!!

Him in action,oh I wish they'd need another drummer,I would definately volunteer!!
This symphony was a tango style from "The Scent of a Woman" by ARR.John Williams

This I think is the Piccolo and only one in the whole hall!! yet he managed to keep all our attention on him! like he could carry the show himself!great player!
this symphony was the "Filandia" by Jean Sibelius another great composer.

Now these girls are awesome! they had the whole percussion to themselves, the huge bass drum, the triangle, snare drum, the cymboles, and the crash cymboles, the tamboreines and so on, the crash cymboles were very big and if you look at her, she tiny and so on the accent on the triplet was or beat cus it was too heavy for her to come around to do it again,no one seamed to notice but anyway they were great.

Now this young lady was the "soloist" her name is Melissa Simonetto a halfling Thai-Austrailian and i got to take a photo with her too at the end,but its not here i could find it,we looked great together anyway!!

Her again receiving lots of applauses from the audience she then joined her friends.

getting flowers at the end,by the Australian representative.

and Me with the conductor!! this is the clash of styles! symphony conductor vs.freestyle musician!
well at the end of the show he turned and bow then walked off the stage, the audience clapped then it started dieing down, this is not good I thought I wanted an encore,so I kept clapping till I was about the last one still clapping, so everyone joined me again, after clapping for a little while he came back and bowed and told all the other musicians to get up and do the same, then it died down again,I kept clapping till once again I was about the last one still clapping, then everyone joined me again, this happened three times,so finally he told his band to ready for another song,I sat down and enjoyed my good work,I didn't want the show to end too soon (it was already two hours) so after the last symphony ended, everyone clapped again I was happy now so I didn't continue to clap, but I did stand up and clap I got every ones attention(which wasn't right cus Susan was suppose to stand up with me,but she didn't in the end,Zan!!! I still have words for you!!!)he even gave me a bow!well in all it was a memorable evening I fell asleep with the songs still playing in my head, one day I hope to have a place up there with all the other great composers but until that day I'll just enjoy what they left for me and you.Ohh!! such music, it was Heavenly!
"A musician is the closest thing a man can get to God"-Ludwig Van Beethoven,(while writing his 9th symphony)
Well hope I've been able to share with you at least part of my wonderful experience, even though I'm terrible at expressing myself, Ahh!it was just, just simply wonderful........
