If we would notice......

A few days ago while I was recreating my blog, then all of a sudden the internet cut i was a little disappointed about the delay of my progress(well considering i had to start all over again)

I immediately praised the Lord for the cool weather and that it wasn't too hot and that the it didn't cut all the time, so then I went out side to see how it was going (the main electricity post was in front of my house) I asked the foreman how long it would take and what was the problem,he said it was the yearly check up(i was like "stang it had to be today") so while i was not being very positive i looked up and saw one of the workers about 20 feet off the ground then it hit me"he's a professional of course but here I am thinking about only myself while he's up there trying to fix it,he's risking his life!"

I felt ashamed for being so selfish and how I was just praising the Lord and now I'm grumbling (as if I was having such a bad day) well I had been practicing the art of prayer for 1 year and was doing great, so was was sorta sad about the failer in continuing to being prayful and thinking positive (well I am human so its normal)

So I instantly prayed for the workers safety, and for the other members of the crew, and for the foreman to communicate well with the rest of the his team, and that the job wouldn't make too much trouble for them, after that I watched them finish up the job and thanked them for doing a good (and fast) job,and back to my work.

I learned my lesson about being less self-centered and to think more about others,I hope this will help you to be more aware of little and insignificant things, you'll see that you'd notice a whole lot more!! I'll let this thought sink into your mind...love you all!!!

Wow, I never would have thought of that. heheh I admire you!. I would sit in my pc staring blankly at the screen while whining about some silly conversation i wasn't able to finish... probably cause of my selfish nature :D.... (makes me wonder why I never thought of praying for the workers just outside out house, with all that heavy Mach...) but really, GBY! you made me think :D
