Floating Market

It's basically a Market on water with wooden flats and tables and not to mention plenty of food!!!
Ok the first two pics have nothing to do with floating or markets, I just wanted to add them heh.

rather cute no?

Ok food!!!!!!!no it's actually a snack. Green sticky-rice sprinkled with sugur and deep-fried garlic

another cutsie!!! with another snack its like doughy yellow stuff. Yeah that's the best I can do at explaining.

And the food is made on little boats like this one

More snacks!!! I thought this was going to be about food.....oh well snacks are just as good.

and lastly an interesting little hanging thingy with the menu written on coconut hulls!!!

But green sticky rice?? ...My brain refuses to allow me to eat anything that looks abnormal. :)

LOL! If I had a choice between the green sticky rice & some questionable-looking creature I'd never eaten b4, I'd definitely go for the rice!

BTW, I like the way your hair looks in that 1st pic, Pon! Niki's making a kinda silly face, but besides that, it's a great pic of u guys. And Det does look rather cute in that other shot!

it's that bad Nina??? it's just green sticky-rice LOL!!

Thanks for all the compliments my hair changes like every 3 months, the one in the pic doesn't look like the one I have now.

No, the point was, the green sticky-rice is *not* that bad. I mean, I hv no idea what makes it green, it does hv white sugar & deep-fried garlic *together* on top of it, which is a combination I've never had b4, but even tho' for instance, I know locusts r clean creatures & Biblically gd 4 food, I'd still choose the rice over a fried locust (even if it was dipped in honey, haha)!

Similarly, I wouldn't eat locust or bugs/insects even if it meant my life. I once had stir-fried silk worm, and it didn't taste that bad but I felt like throwing up just thinking "I'm eating worms here".
