I don't carve very often, but this is one of my latest ones of a female fighting fish. It took me about 15 hours to carve, I'm doing another carving now from a block of plaster almost finished just doing the final touch ups. So stay Put!

Ooh, yeh, I was just going to say that it looked like one of those fossils from the Flood era, but "coleocanth" describes it much better.
Is that carved out of wood? 15 hrs, whew! Must've taken an awful lot of patience to do it!
