a little lesson

the other day I Nina wrote me a very sweet comment. I've added a portion of it here "I've noticed a lot of bloggers seem to post "for comments," & appear to "rate their blogs" by the number of comments or hits they receive. It can become a popularity thing, where, in a way, they consider themselves loved, fulfilled & sucessful when there are tons of comments; conversely considering themselves lame, boring, or un-cared about when there are few or no comments." I thot that I should put it up something about those words gave me a whole new perspective.
When I first started this blog that was the exact idea I had in mind, it was a race to of popularity, a race of feedback,a race of statics etc. So I would try to wrack my brain for things to post and it really started to be no fun anymore, not only that but a waste of time I could have invested in other things. My perspective now has changed, the sole purpose I now keep this thing up is to not only share with others my life but to share the way I think of it, my ideas, opinions and lessons so that maybe what I've written or shared would benifit some passer-byer. That basically would already be a great reward even if I don't hear about it now or there is no proof of it in the comment box HA!!
I want to thank you all for taking your time to read this and for commenting from time to time (thats a great encouragement).
And special thanks to Nina who has many times put me straight on somethings and for her never ordinary comments LOL!!! thats basically it Jesus loves you.
