Beauty of the Sea

The waves that splash here on the shore
The breezy wind blows beyond me
The sand so smooth glistens white
As I sit and think by the shores of the sea

Tis' how it looks after a storm
The fabulous sea sparkles clean
Of all the bits of uglyness
That unthoughtful human beings bring

But tis' was not this way before
As winds and waves increased
A storm that blew fierce wind across my face
Now in the past deceased

But what was left was only the beauty
Found after the raging storm
Destruction took with it destructors
Now can the sun shine warm
